New fellowship programme related to maritime security issues
The Maritime Security Centre of Excellence (MARSEC COE) in Istanbul has just launched its new fellowship programme. Fellowships will normally last six months and are based on a full-time assignment. Topics can include a broad range of subjects related to maritime security.
MARSEC COE was inaugurated in November 2012 by the Turkish Navy. In June 2020, it was accredited by NATO as the 26th centre of excellence within the alliance. Only three of those centres, however, have a main focus on maritime topics.
Further details about the fellowship programme itself as well as the administrative details can be found on the MARSEC COE website. You can also find a point of contact for further enquiries.
